What does the life of a modern nomad look like? What the people are surrounded with in such a rapidly changing lifestyle? We've got answers to these and many other questions during one of the discussion panels, which took place as part of the 3rd edition of the Good Design Forum.

Michał Mazur, founder of the TrendNomad.com website and trend watcher, conducted a discussion panel "Contemporary nomads" on 9 December 2015 during the Good Design Forum. That afternoon we were able to hear many interesting opinions about what the life of a modern nomad looks like, what are the people who live in such a rapidly changing lifestyle and whether design can help them find a sense of security and stability.

The thesis was confirmed by Dominika J. Rostocka, claiming that our personal items related to professional work are ever more limited to the laptop. We store documents and contacts in the so-called cloud and thanks to that we no longer need books, notebooks or calendars, because everything is given to us by the computer. This makes us more and more conscious consumers. Nomadism forces us to use things that are really necessary. It is not encouraging the accumulation and attachment to objects - emphasized Jak Sikora.
