EUROPEAN PROPERTY AWARDS: SUPREME LAURELS FOR DOMINIKA J. ROSTOCKA’S STUDIO
We met the winners of the European edition of the prestigious International Property Awards competition. The Best Interior Design Apartment Award went to the studio of Dominika J. Rostocka for the project "New Art Deco Apartment in Warsaw". In addition, this is the only implementation, as the only one from Europe, in the apartment category that has been nominated for the world competition finals.
On 27 October 2016, at the London Marriott Hotel at Grosvenor Square, the European Property Awards gala ceremony was held. It was the finale of the European part of the prestigious International Property Awards, comparable in the real estate industry with the Oscars. One of the four key competition categories was "Interior Design". In the case of the awarded projects, 5 star (Best Interior Design) and "Highly Commended" titles were awarded. For the second time in her professional career, the highest prize, the title of "Best Interior Design", was obtained by the interior architect Dominika J. Rostocka. In 2013, she received it for the "Residence under the Oaks", designed in a classic style. This time, the jury recognized the design of a Warsaw apartment in the New Art Deco style promoted by D.J. Rostocka.
The awarded apartment is an elegant, stylish interior, in the New Art Deco style that is Dominika J. Rostocka’s hallmark and the apartment that has been refined with lightness and refined taste. There is nothing accidental in this apartment. Everything is in line with the trend of the style promoted by the author. Carefully refined individual designs and at the same time referring to the current global trends. The presence of metalwork, upholstered furniture, fashionable velours and rare veneers have contributed to the unique atmosphere of this interior. The impression of uniqueness is undoubtedly heightened by the fact that all furniture, part of the lighting and decorative elements (including among others the author's relief), have been designed and made especially for this apartment.
‘When working on this project I enjoyed the investor's great confidence and the opportunity to refine each element to the smallest detail. I am very proud with this realisation and I am very pleased that it has found recognition of the jury of the European Property Awards. I am excited with the fact that it will be presented again during the world final of the competition, which will take place in London in December. I will then be able to compete in my category with the best apartments from around the world’ says Dominika J. Rostocka.
